During my last week at Misión México I was stoked to have one final fun session surfing with and capturing photos of these amazing kids doing what they love most. After recently purchasing a new Sony Alpha A6000 I couldn't think of a better way to christen the camera and take it for it's first test run than to shoot the children surfing from Misión México at a beach near Tapachula. On this day we were greeted by a fresh and nicely groomed fun 3-4ft swell breaking off the breakwall. I was quickly out there following around after the frothing grommets who were absolutely ripping....and here are the results. I was shooting with a 30mm Sigma Prime Lens and it took my a while to get used to the focusing system but I was happy to nail a few decent shots in the end.
