When Fidel Castro and his band of bearded merry men took control of Cuba in 1959 the USA subsequently placed a strict trade embargo on the small nation preventing almost all imports to Cuba including all vehicle imports. As a result, Cuba has fielded a fleet of close to 60,000 classic pre 1960's cars for the past 50 years and Cubans have become expert mechanics at repairing and maintaining these four wheeled relics in order to keep them on the road. One may argue that Cubans must rank among some of the best and most resourceful mechanics on the planet. Once you arrive on the shores of Cuba you will be quickly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of classic 1950's cars with Cadillacs, Packards, De Sotos of varying states flooding the choatic streets of the country. Many classic cars in Cuba are still used as taxis are often still in pristine condition. If you are a vintage car lover then Cuba must be near the top of your bucket list of countries to visit.

The Acrylic Mounting comes ready to hang on the wall on a 4.5 mm laser cut clear Perspex. The panel has an aluminium backing frame which will appear to be floating 1 -2 cm away from the wall. Acrylic mountings are hung on the wall with picture framing hooks and special custom made brackets for the larger sizes. Installation will require you to place a screw into the wall.
